Dutch Oven 8L – Valhal Outdoor – without feet

The VH8L Dutch Oven is made of cast iron and has no feet at the bottom. The lid has a raised edge, though with legs.

The legs on the lid allow you to place it upside down directly on the heat source, without “stifling” the heat. You can then use the lid as a skillet.

Thanks to the raised edge, it is also possible to place coals on the lid to create an oven function inside the Dutch Oven.

Pan

The VH8L has no feet on the bottom and therefore you can easily place it in your oven or on your barbecue grill. Do you need legs anyway? This Dutch Oven is also available with legs.

Cast iron

Cast iron is a material that conducts and retains heat well, also cast iron is suitable for any heat source.

Use

The Dutch Ovens of Valhal Outdoor are already pre-treated with a natural oil, so you do not have to do this yourself before the first use. Nevertheless, we do recommend that you heat the Dutch Ovens thoroughly before using them for the first time. When you take good care of your Dutch Oven, you have a pan for life. To ensure longevity, we recommend taking care of your pan regularly with the VH.WAX.
